Outreach Team Ministers Once Again in Downtown Atlanta, Georgia
“The homeless outreach in downtown Atlanta has continuously been a humbling experience. Each time when we arrive, we come in expectation of our Heavenly Father (through the Holy Spirit) to welcome us. We never know what to expect when we come to minister and provide necessary items. When you are led by God’s spirit, we can definitely say that he always directs us where he desires us to go and what to do. We are ready at any given time to go forward and help our brothers and sisters in need.
We not only served our brothers and sisters outside of the greyhound station but we were compelled to go inside and share the love, our smiles and compassion to those who were traveling to different destinations. Everyone, showed their appreciation through smiles and kind words. For it is nothing that we do but it is all to the Glory of God. We had many to ask for prayer and our Ministry contact card. We were richly blessed to see the hearts of men and women being lifted up in spirit.
This outreach was truly one of a kind. The ministry was blessed to receive scarves, caps, socks, blankets, and other items from Old Navy along with hygiene essential packs, clothes and shoes provided through other donations. A great big shout out to Burger King for continuously supporting the ministry as well in its outreach events to help those who need a helping hand. We are here to lend a helping hand, provide words of comfort and support and share the love of Jesus Christ.”

“The outreach mission was indeed a success with serving those that needed warm weather items such as blankets, scarves, gloves, socks, hats, clothing, and hygiene essentials. Many asked for prayers and needed encouragement. The light breakfast, snacks, and drinks that were served just warmed the hearts of so many that caused them to share their stories with us.
It is a blessing and a continued humbling experience to have the opportunity to help others. We did a walk of faith, this time meeting the homeless on the street and serving inside the bus station. I am grateful for what God is doing in the lives of others through the Holy Spirit. We appreciate the donations from Old Navy, Burger King, Will Flo Grace, and Mercy Ministry, Hawthorne and Brown families that partnered with us again in giving back to the community. Touching Lives and Inspiring Glorious Change through the love of God which lives in us.”

“The first thing that comes to mind about the Homeless Outreach in downtown Atlanta on January 8th is its “Awesome Benefits.”
Benefits is described as “An advantage or profit gained or satisfaction gained from something; reward of service and strength to help aid in good.”
For we know that one of the awesome benefits is to spread the good news. Just knowing that we have been able to help others is beneficial. To serve others teaches humility, it builds up your faith, it gives you joy and connects you to others. It allows an individual to make a true difference in another person’s life while you continue to show love.
“This is my commandment, that ye love one another, even as I have loved you.” John 15:12 ASV
This is affirmation that this is our purpose and that each one of us have an assignment to share with others, to let them know the awesome benefits by spreading the good news.
“I have shown here on the earth how great you are. In that way, I have finished the work that you gave to me to do.” John 17:4 EASY. Glory to God Meeting Outreach Ministry’s mission is to “Touch Lives and Inspire Glorious Change.” When we walk and work in what God has called us to do, he is pleased with the works of our hands.
“Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands upon us; yes, establish the work of our hands!” Psalm 90:17 ESV”
