Are You Ready to Build Your Most Holy Faith?
What does it mean to have faith in God? It means deciding to hear God’s Word, believe it, and act on it. “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” (Hebrews 11:1)
True faith stands on the Word of God.
Building up yourselves. —Making yourselves strong on the sure foundation of faith, to have faith as one’s foundation is the same as having Christ as one’s foundation. But you, dear friends, must build each other up in your most holy faith, pray in the power of the Holy Spirit (Jude 1:20).
God will increase our faith if we fervently ask Him for it and seek to draw closer to Him in prayer and the reading of His Word.
Praying in the Spirit greatly helps to build us up in our faith. When we don't know what to pray for, the Spirit will help us pray. He prays in an unknown language, praying for our needs when we don't even know them yet (Romans 8:26-27)
The Bible stresses that faith is a gift because God deserves all the glory for our salvation. God saved you by his grace when you believed (Ephesians 2:8).
Childlike faith is kind, humble, and gentle.
It does not look down on others. It exhibits the love of Christ. It's neither haughty nor prideful. In fact, God opposes haughtiness and warns us to not let our pride be our downfall (Proverbs 18:12).
Real faith is more than just believing in God alone.
It’s serving God in all seasons of your life regardless of uncomfortable circumstances and obeying His voice. “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” (2 Corinthians 5:7)
We must encourage each other in our faith walk.
“Therefore encourage one another and build each other up “(1 Thessalonians 5:11) Show the love of Christ towards each other. “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.” (John 13:34)
Act on the word
Let the word of God work for you. “For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith” (Romans 1:17)
Use your Faith To Achieve Greatness.
There is nothing that your faith can’t do. Faith is personal, between you and God. Believe Him for the things that that’s he’s placed in your heart. The naysayers have no idea of what God has in store for you.
“If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place, and it shall remove, and nothing shall be impossible unto you” (Matthew 17:20)
