I am Sonia Parker, the founder of Abundant Life Mentoring and Motivational Services Ministry.  in Dallas, North Carolina. My services are provided via several outlets such as virtual (zoom), google meets, phone, and email.  I started my counseling ministry (formerly Abundant Life Counseling) in 2013. I have more than 8 years of clinical experience as a certified temperament counselor, 5 years of experience as a licensed clinical pastoral counselor, 2 years’ experience as a licensed clinical addiction specialist-associate (LCAS-A), and two years of experience as a certified Life Coach, and two years of experience as a certified Triple P Positive Parenting Practitioner.  

I have had the privilege of walking alongside people from different walks of life during times when they felt alone, hurt, vulnerable, or overwhelmed. So often, when we feel alone during our difficult times, our ability to see beyond such challenges becomes compromised and we can lose hope. But through the collaborative efforts of the clients and the counselor, healing, growth, and change transpires to help us live happy and successful lives.

When life presents challenges that can feel overwhelming, counseling and coaching can help to provide the healing and hope that you need. I have a broad range of experience working with children, teenagers, adults, couples, single parents, homeless, veterans, and the elderly.

So, who am I? I was born and raised in Clemson, SC to Mr. and Mrs. Bryant S. Black Sr. I have been a born-again believer for over 32 years, and I have surrendered my life to live a life that is pleasing to God. I [TIME] teach, inspire, minister, and encourage all individuals that the Holy Spirit connects me. My deepest passion is to “Help Hurting Individuals Help Themselves.” spiritually, mentally, and physically. I live by the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the power of the Word of God to do what the Lord has anointed me to do.
