God is Doing Something NEW. Can You See It? Are You Aware of It?

Matthew 7:9-12 NIV

9 “Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11 If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! 12 So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.

Glory to God Meeting Outreach Ministry visited Hope Mission in Anderson, SC, this past Saturday, January 13, and the experience was uplifting, humbling, meaningful, exciting, electrifying, and most importantly, SPIRITUAL.

The Holy Spirit made its welcome from the time of our entrance until our exit.  The atmosphere was exemplified by fantastic gratitude and love among those we served and the staff we connected with from Hope Mission’s organization.  Our mission was not reserved only for serving food to people experiencing homelessness; the assignment was more significant.  Our Heavenly Father uses us as vessels to declare His word and speak life into the lives of others we serve.  We listened to many testimonies about individual heart-felt journeys and witnessed the tears of God’s people crying out for change and direction.

God is rewriting the stories of many we spoke with; their lives and our lives will never be the same.  God said that all His children are wonderfully made and marvelous in His sight.  What a wonderful and loving God we serve.  Psalm 139:14 KJV 14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.

Special thanks to Dave and Zoe Phillips, Marlando, Stephanie, Krystal, and so many others from Hope Mission, who volunteered to help serve and offer guidance and encouragement to our team.  We also thank Ruby Slade for dedicating her time to volunteering with the Glory to God Meeting Outreach Ministry team.

We thank the staff and manager Lisa Geer of Golden Corral in Anderson, SC, for catering the breakfast items to serve people experiencing homelessness.

We appreciate the funds and items we received from donors who committed to making this mission successful.  You know who you are, and we pray for abundant blessings, peace, miracles, and direction over your lives in 2024.
