Have you ever wondered What Is My Purpose, Why Am I Here?
Well, you’ve come to the right place. I am an encourager, and my passion is helping others overcome feelings of despair, and guilt. It’s not easy forgetting the past or overcoming life’s challenges, however together there’s hope, strength, laughter, and new beginnings- you are not alone.
As an overcomer of toxic relationships, depression, and anxiety, it’s important that I share my testimony to help others realize they are not alone. I am here to listen, pray, embrace, motivate, support you in your goals, and to provide you with resources and tools needed to succeed.
Only God, knows the heart, it’s not up to man or woman to judge your path, or where you’ve been. Truthfully, we’ve all been places that we are not exactly proud of- Jeremiah 17:10 NIV “I the Lord search the heart and examine the mind, to reward each person according to their conduct, according to what their deeds deserve.”
As God’s servant, he reminds us that our mission is honesty, kindness, and a loving heart. Proverbs 3:3 NLT- Never let loyalty and kindness leave you! Tie them around your neck as a reminder. Write them deep within your heart.
more about myself:
I am from Anderson, SC, and reside in Atlanta GA with my husband, Montez Mattison. We have three children (Desiree’, Gabriel, and Austin) and three grandchildren (Kaylee, Konnor, and Katelyn).
I became a single parent at the age of 19 years old. I grew up in a very religious home with little support or encouragement from my family and as the years passed that support totally diminished. There were many struggles, obstacles, and disappointments, however it made me stronger. I knew that depending on God’s help wasn’t an option, it was the only option. I love my family and appreciate them, but never would’ve survived mentally or physically without God’s help. My testimony is still in progress.
I’ve been blessed to work in many diverse areas in health care since the early 90s. The bulk of my experience has been in geriatrics, working with dementia patients, and disabled older populations. I also have experience in providing dementia care education to caregivers. The rest of my experience is in hospital disease case management, patient care coordination, oncology financial counselor, dialysis care, home health care, medical billing, durable medical equipment billing, and specialized ENT claims/billing specialist. I am a former employee of Prisma Health hospital system with 13 years of knowledge and experience before moving to Atlanta GA.
Currently, I’m serving as an Executive Director and Ministry Coach of Glory to God Meeting Outreach Ministry. Glory to God Meeting Outreach Ministry is a 501c3 nonprofit organization founded March 2020. I enjoy being a ministry coach and am grateful for every opportunity to impact the lives of others through listening to the clients served, sharing my own testimony, providing resources and hope.
We are Stronger Together -1 Corinthians 16:14 ESV Let all that you do be done in love.
