“Are you experiencing depression? Are you feeling alone and abandoned? Have you experienced a life-or-death situation and weren’t sure if you would make it?
Jeremiah 29:11 says, For I know the plans I have for you, declare the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.
This is the life that our Lord and Savior desires for you and I am here to help walk with you through this journey, providing you with the spiritual aspects as well as working through any mental or physical challenges that you might be experiencing. I would not have made it if I didn’t have the individuals in my life that prayed for me when I wasn’t able to pray for myself. Even though the times were my faith seemed faint, my joy was gone, and I felt like giving up. The Lord sent many angels to encourage me, listen to me and walk with me through the ups and downs until I came out of the heaviness that had me trapped within myself.
In 1 Peter 4:10, it lets us know that “Just as each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.” I received my healing and deliverance and now I am ready to help you towards your road to recovery, your road to a better life, and your road to true freedom. Freedom in your mind, your body, and soul. We all have a part to play and must work together to get on the right track to a sustainable life.
Why am I here? Who am I? What is my part in Glory to God Outreach? So, let’s begin by saying that my passion and purpose is to encourage, build and help you reach your destiny. It is a mission of mine to fellowship with others so that I can share the good news with my community on how I was delivered from what seemed a dark tunnel with no way out and no way of escape that I could see with my physical eyes.
MORE ABOUT MYSELF:
Hello, my name is Minister Angela Gilliard and I would like to take a few minutes to share my journey with you. On three different occasions, I had a scare with health issues first in September 2015, second in December 2018, and the third issue in October 2020. I was admitted to the hospital staying for weeks with one health issue, then for a month which later transitioned to my rehabilitation stay. There were many who visited while immediate family members were able to stay with me. There was always someone on my side either physically or spiritually. During these three occurrences, I was going through a mental state where I felt within myself some form of depression that placed me in a state of feeling alone, abandoned, and helpless. I felt closed out to the world. During this time, I had not shared anything with my family on what I was dealing with. It was hard to accept that I could not do for myself but had to depend on others to care for me.
I would not have made it without, first, God on my side and my husband Michael Gilliard of 25+ years my two devoted sons Josh and Steven as well as my church family. I believe it is important to spend time with family and with God. For when we desire to know God, as Psalm 63:1 says we must seek him early. I want to share with you and desire for you to experience the power of God’s Kingdom and know that the Kingdom of God lives inside of us.
Glory To God Meeting Outreach Ministry is an Outreach Ministry for women and men. You may want to ask why it is important to me, so I will tell you that through this ministry God healed and delivered me and he will do the same for you too. What you are battling today isn’t too hard for God. Just know that our God never changes, for in Hebrews 13:8 it tells us that “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”
I would like to leave with you these scriptures to encourage you that you are loved, and you are important. You are not alone; you are not forgotten, and you are not cast away. For when you don’t have the strength, reach out to those that love you, those who want to see you prosper. We, the Glory to God Meeting Outreach Ministry team, do as Acts 6:4 says, “But we give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word. To show love to others.” We continue to follow the directions of 1 Corinthians 16:14 “Let all that you do be done in love. “For we are your friends in the ministry. Know that Proverbs 27:9 gives you encouragement to let you know that “A sweet friendship refreshes the soul.” I am so thankful and blessed to be a part of a ministry that goes forth and reaches the unreachable and love the unlovable.
My prayer is and comes from Psalms 90:17 “May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us yes, establish the work of our hands.”
